A market of farm products and cuisine to introduce Karuizawa food culture

Karuizawa Market: Vegetables of Karuizawa, processed food unique to Karuizawa and souvenirs are sold

Karuizawa Hotchi Ichiba founded in 2016 is a “food” market where you can enjoy Karuizawa products. As well as Karuizawa brand vegetables “Karuizawa kirishita yasai”, other farm products and processed foods are sold here. In addition there are restaurants that offer dishes of local ingredients. You can shop and eat in the rural environment, which makes the place popular with tourists and locals. The market holds an expectation to become a venue to vitalize local industry as the base of the 6th industry, linking farming, commerce and tourism.

Strawberries grown in Karuizawa and other fruits of Nagano prefecture are sold


Handmade soba Kaoriya: Handmade soba by artisans using local and home grown buckwheat flour is offered
